Nashville, TN’s 3RD POWER designs and manufactures hand-made vacuum tube guitar amplifiers. Founder/designer, Jamie Scott honed his craft as a professional guitarist, recording/mastering engineer and spent that last 10+ years in key roles with some of the most innovative music technology companies in the industry including Sennheiser, X2 Digital Wireless and Line 6. Having been a part of the innovation process and experiencing how it’s done, Scott set out on his own to create revolutionary new products to solve the problems still plaguing recording and performing guitarists to this day.

Our business and legal operations, as well as our intellectual property strategy and enforcement, are handled by Diana Sandoval, chief business officer and general counsel. Prior to joining 3rd Power, Ms. Sandoval was vice president, legal of a Nashville-based healthcare company. Prior to moving to Nashville, she worked at a global law firm doing mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Ms. Sandoval received her J.D. at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

At 3RD POWER, we use our knowledge of analog and tube electronics to help you create the sounds you hear in your head and feel in your bones. We've played and taught music, recorded and toured around the world, engineered and mastered records, gigged in bars on Monday nights, stayed up late tweaking knobs and messing with gear - all in the pursuit of achieving great tone.
