4-TIME GRAMMY AWARD WINNING ARTIST LENNY KRAVITZ CHOOSES 3RD POWER GUITAR SPEAKERS FOR 2011-2012 WORLD TOUR.

Nashville, TN, October 18, 2011–3RD POWER Amplification LLC, makers of innovative guitar amplification tools, is proud to announce that 4-time Grammy Award winning artist Lenny Kravitz has chosen 3RD POWER Amplification guitar and bass speakers for his 2011 – 2012 world tour.

According to Alex Alvarez, Lenny's tech for 20+ years, "We wanted to upgrade our guitar sound moving forward as Lenny prefers to run live guitar cabs on stage. We had heard good things about 3RD POWER's tri-cabs and, obviously, we really loved the look too. We couldn't be happier!"

Jamie Scott, founder and designer of 3RD POWER adds, "Lenny's guitar cabinet requirements for this tour were unique in that Lenny wanted separate guitar cabinet stacks on each side of the stage with both integrating various guitar and bass cabinets - all running live at various times during the show. Based on his requirements for authentic vintage tone, we custom designed 112 and 312 guitar cabinets while incorporating our proprietary SwitchBACK technology so he could get 'open-back' performance as needed. It was also a requirement to weave bass cabinets into each speaker cluster. We created custom dual jet-ported 115 tri-cab enclosures that really move some air and integrate seamlessly into the rig."

As Lenny puts it, "I never thought I would give up the classic 4x12. But the 3RD POWER cabinets are exceptional."
